My name is Samantha Westfall. I’m an illustrator who is passionate about creating artwork that resonates on a personal and even nostalgic level. I often use symbolism and color imagery to connect with the viewer emotionally.

Growing up in a rural area of central Wisconsin, I developed a love for animals and wildlife. That connection, as well as my love for vintage styled tattoos and posters, shapes my aesthetic.  Much of my work focuses on animal subjects or is inspired by natural elements. Each project I take on is tailored to reflect my client’s desire and vision. Every element in an illustration – down to the smallest color choice – reflects meaning and intention in my pieces. While I primarily work digitally, I also enjoy the effects of traditional media such as air brush painting, watercolor, or colored pencil which lends a softness and warmth to my illustrations.
